Room97 Creative Academy hosted an exclusive session for Barnsley College’s hairdressing teaching team entitled “The Inside World on how to Create the Award-Winning Photo Shoot” last Wednesday.
The session was presented by Marcello Moccia, Owner and Creative Director of Room97 and was designed to address both creative and commercial issues considering many aspects including budgets, inspiration and direction, castings and the benefits.
Karen Perry, owner and manager of Room97 East Ardsley salon concluded the session presenting to the audience an insight into being a L’Oreal Colour Specialist as well as revealing the latest IT Looks from L’Oreal for Spring/Summer 2016.
Claire Schofield, Hairdressing Programme Manager at Barnsley College said of the event,
“We had a fantastic time, the session was very interesting and informative and completely different from other training sessions we have attended, all staff thoroughly enjoyed it and the hospitality was fabulous too.”
As well as the current training opportunities at the Creative Academy with the Apprenticeship Programme and the School Partnerships Programme, Room97 Creative Academy are soon to announce a new private training programme for Autumn 2016 with a varied topics designed specifically for the professional hairdresser to develop their skills and knowledge in both creative and commercial aspects.
